Wynns Coonawarra Estate Shiraz 2008, Coonawarra, South Australia
Wynner, Wynner, Chicken dinner. Anything Wynns makes is usually good in my books.
Like Mike Tyson eating peanut butter right out of the jar. This Shiraz is powerful, really really dense and it sticks to the roof of your mouth. Put some Phil Collins on and pour this beside a plate of ribs soaked with your favorite BBQ sauce.
Salterio Albariño 2010, Do Rías Baixas, Spain
Albariño is so fun to say in a fake Spanish accent. Try it… This white grape
thrives in the coastal Vineyards of Northwestern Spain. Drinking this is like waking up beside a fruit tree after a big bender (like this hasn’t happened to you). This wine smells like morning grass, something sweet…. and Holy Albariño your mouth is dry. Nice and acidic, it pairs with BBQ’d prosciutto wrapped scallops.
