Sunshine and Hockey Playoff Wines

Mayu Reserva Carmenère 2009, Elqui Valley, Chile , $17.95 (90035)

Second year in a row I’m on this Chilean.  You’ll love this if you love the stinky, full bodied wines.  This is like Marty Brodeur BBQing with his gloves on.  Its smell like smoke and sweaty leather mitts, has amazing balance, and will age very well.  Have a few of these ready for game 7 with a charred leg of lamb and a side of mint sauce.

Emiliana Signos De Origen La Vinilla Chardonnay/Viognier/Marsanne/Roussanne 2010, Casablanca Valley, Chile, $19.95 (63909)

Hello juicy wine, welcome to my salivary glands.  This masterful bright blend of white grapes will please any wine drinker.  Like Katrina & The Waves hanging out on your dock.  It’s like Walking on Sunshine and this wine makes me feel good……  Alright now.  Feel alive and pair this with good friends and afternoon rays of sunshine.
